Meet Dr. McQuinn
Originally from Fort Myers, Florida, Dr. McQuinn received his undergraduate degree from Florida Gulf Coast University. He attended Dental School at The University of Kentucky, where he graduated with honors. Upon graduation, Dr. McQuinn was inducted into the National Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon.
Dr. McQuinn completed specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the The Presidents Hospital, Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. As part of his residency, he gained extensive experience in dental implant surgery, maxillofacial trauma, orthognathic surgery, facial cosmetic surgery, pathology, bone grafting, reconstructive surgery, and IV sedation/anesthesia. After completing his residency, Dr. McQuinn moved to Swansboro where he practiced the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Camp Lejeune until July, 2024..
Dr. McQuinn brings wide ranging experience to Coastal Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He has special interests in dental implant surgery, dentoalveolar surgery, and IV sedation/anesthesia. He continually strives to enhance the treatment of every patient entrusted to his care.
Dr. McQuinn is Board Certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS). He is a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) and the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (ACOMS). He has also served as an anesthesia examiner for the North Carolina State Board of Dental Examiners.
On a personal level, Dr. McQuinn relishes spending time with his family. He also enjoys many sports and traveling.
